Water actively entering the building, tiles or ridge sections loose above an area people use, a hole in the covering with more weather forecast, or storm damage that has exposed the underlay. Those are jobs that cannot wait for a scheduled visit.
A single slipped tile in dry weather, moss growth or a long-standing damp patch are not emergencies; they are normal-hours work, and treating them as emergencies just costs you more.
What we can and cannot do in the dark and wet
Make-safe work is exactly that: securing loose material and stopping water. Mortar will not cure in the rain, tiles cannot be properly matched in the dark, and nobody should be doing detailed work on a wet roof in high wind.
We are straight with you about what is a temporary measure and what is permanent, so the follow-up is planned rather than assumed.
